Don & Sherry Pfeffer Retire

After nearly nineteen years of continuous service, in nearly every capacity, Don and Sherry Pfeffer feel it is time to retire. They feel that their moving on is something that perhaps should have taken place a few years ago. As most of you are aware, it has been several years since their family has had any athletic involvement in the club. They find that their time is being consumed in other places and interests and they are spreading themselves too thinly, missing out on recreational and other business opportunities.

They stated, "There is never a good, better, or best time to leave the club, but this is as good a time as any." They are looking forward to their new-found freedom but at the same time expect that there will be a short term void in their daily lives. They have indicated that they will still be around to volunteer at various events as time permits.

Their leaving will allow for a redistribution of tasks that were previously done by each of them as General Manager and as Registrar. If you are interested in getting involved as a Director or as a member of one of the many organizing committees, call the President, Laurel Bennett at 604-277-2909.
