Ice-Breaker 8k
January 27, 2008
Annual 8 km road race early in the year to start
the season and the Timex BC Road Running Series. Starts and finishes at
the Steveston Community Centre at 4111 Moncton Rd. Start time back to

School Meet May 10, 2008
At Clement Track
(Minoru Park), Richmond, for Grades 9 through 12. Saturday meet. Medals to top three in each event, aggregate
awards for men and women; team aggregate awards. Event

BC Elementary
Track & Field Championships May 23-25,
2008
Over 1600 individual athletes and over 300 relay
teams from elementary schools all over the province will attend what is
usually the largest track meet in BC. No qualification times
necessary; awards provided to 16th place in most events. At Clement Track

Kajaks
International Track Classic June 15, 2008
Elite level meet at the start of the
outdoor season, offering prize money for top ranked performances. Part of the PacifiCanada
Track and Field Series; takes place at Clement Track in Richmond.

 Labour Day
Weekend 8k August 31, 2008
Part 2 of the "Kajaks Bookends Series", this event has a 20+ year history. Takes place on the Sunday
right before Labour Day, same location and course as the Ice-Breaker. Final race

BC Elementary & Junior High Schools
X-Country Meet October 6, 2007
At Deas Island Regional Park, Delta. 1800m, 2000m and 3700m depending on age group. School Team awards, medals for top 3

Championships August 16-17, 2003
Kajaks was proud to host the 2003 CMAA championships at the Clement
Track in Richmond.
Competition was provided for Men and Women in five year age groups from 30-34 to 90+. Results
