The Canadian Masters Track & Field Championships
Clement Track, August 16-17, 2003
The Kajaks Track & Field Club hosted the Canadian Masters Championships
on August 16th and 17th and from all reports it was a huge success. The athletes
who attended from other Canadian provinces, the United States and B.C. commented
that the atmosphere of the meet was very friendly and that it was very well run.
We would like to thank the following people who volunteered their time to help
make the meet a success.

who handled many of the technological aspects of running a track meet
- Jake Madderom who was the entry clerk and the main liaison with B.C.
Athletics and the Canadian Masters Association. He was an invaluable member of
the Organizing Committee.

the photo timing equipment perfected and to his experienced team of judges and
timers

barriers altered to allow for the different masters age groups to compete

meet, hosting the athletes at the hotels, for supplying ads in U.S. and Canadian
publications, and acquiring the services of AA First Aid and massage therapists
- Louise Reed and Noelle Sarazzin and their teams who organized the Officials'
Luncheon and who supplied refreshments for the volunteers

Canadian Masters' singlets and shirts

hotels
