Start/Finish
- Foot of #1 Road, near the Steveston Community Centre (directions to start below), 4111 Moncton St., Richmond - view map
- Start time 8:30 am
Getting to the start/finish from the Community Centre:
- Begin at the main doors in front of the Steveston Community Centre.
- Cross the street and proceed straight on the sidewalk along Easthope
Ave. You will be going south towards the river.
- Cross Bayview St. at the roundabout and continue south towards the
river onto the concrete walkway that parallels the river (260 metres
from Community Centre to the walkway along the river).
- Turn right on the walkway that parallels the river for 80 metres to
the banner that says "Kajaks".
- You are now at the start and finish.
Course description
Facilities & Services
- Parking and washrooms are available at the Community Centre.
- Water available at start/finish and mid-course.
- Toilets at start/finish and public washrooms on the course at 2.3k and 3.9k.
- Paramedics available for First Aid.
- After event refreshments are provided at the Community Centre.
Awards & Draw Prizes
- Medals are presented to the top 3 male and female runners in each of the following categories:
15 & Under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
- Join us after the race for Draw Prizes. Prize draws will start
approx. 10 mins. after last runner has finished. Must be present to win.
Entry fees 2013
- Online - Early Birds until midnight November 30, 2012: $23
- Online - Regular Entries December 1 until midnight January 23, 2013: $33
- In Person on race day, January 27: $38
- BC Athletics "Athlete" members DEDUCT $3

- 15% off regular priced footwear and apparel for those picking up packets at Forerunners!
- Race Day from 7:00 am to 8:15 am, Steveston Community Centre.
