2011 Scholarship Award
The Kajaks Track & Field Club Board of Directors is proud to offer the Kajaks
Scholarship Award to eligible club members who are graduating from grade 12. The
award will be administered by Kajaks through a Scholarship Fund.
Applicants must be a current full support competitive member of the Kajaks Track &
Field Club. Additionally, you must have been a member in the previous year.
Eligible applicants will be matriculating students progressing to full-time post secondary
study. Scholarships will be awarded to individuals who: have demonstrated ability and
show considerable promise in Track and Field; have attained an acceptable academic
record; and have demonstrated qualities of character and leadership.
APPLICANTS MUST:
- Submit a brief biographical letter noting educational history and plans, as well as career or vocational aspirations.
- Provide TWO letter of reference from: Principal, coach or coaches, or other appropriate sources (counselor, employer, association president etc)
- Submit a verified statement of marks or academic transcript.
- Fill in the attached forms as completely as possible.
Awards will be announced by April 29, 2011.
Awards will be paid to the student upon confirmation of post-secondary registration.
